Here are your post-elimination interviews from the players and head coach John Tortorella following last night's 3-2 OT loss to the Devils in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
John Tortorella
Ryan Callahan
Henrik Lundqvist
Brad Richards
Break-up day for the Rangers will be on Monday. Stay tuned for my season eulogy and a whole lot of individual player reviews in the coming days/weeks. There's still a ton to recap from this magical year of Rangers hockey before we finally put it to rest.

Head coach John Tortorella actually stuck around to give an insightful postgame press conference following last night's 5-3 loss to the New Jersey Devils at MSG, so I thought I'd share this landmark event. Plus, there's not much else to say after what went down last night and what needs to be done in Game 6.
Will have any significant updates from practice later today if worth sharing...

I have an article ready to go about finishing off this series in Game 6, but I'm going to save it for tomorrow morning. Because to be honest, what we witnessed in Game 5 last night at Madison Square Garden was far too breathtaking to move on from already.
Brad Richards' tying goal with 6.6 seconds left:
When they show the view of the Rangers' reaction on the bench, be sure to check out Brandon Prust on the left. I think that was all of us last night, whether we were at MSG or home watching in our living rooms.
Marc Staal's game-winner in OT:
So am I the only one still celebrating these goals every time I watch them? Doubt it.
Believe.

In spirit of the New York Rangers clinching the regular season Eastern Conference title with a win over the Philadelphia Flyers this past Tuesday, I thought I would post the following video to get us amped up for tonight's match-up with the Pittsburgh Penguins at the CONSOL Energy Center.
I've seen a lot of these videos over the past month or so, but this commercial, tying the Rangers to hopes of winning the Stanley Cup, has chills running down my spine. Truly amazing...

Earlier in the year I got a chance to sit down and watch an episode MSG's Behind the Bench series with head coach John Tortorella and former coach Mike Keenan. They talk about a variety of topics and offer the perspective from "behind the bench", but the best part of the show is when we are taken into the film room with Torts. I instantly fell in love with the series from that point on.
A new episode of Behind the Bench premiered last night, and this time Tortorella gave video instruction on the Rangers' strategy of defensemen joining the offensive rush. I know many of you question this and I think this video does a fabulous job detailing exactly how it should be executed. I'm also a hockey nerd so maybe that's just me, but take a look at this:
* The Islanders defeated the Penguins last night, 5-3, to sweep the home-and-home series, which means the Rangers now remain atop the Eastern Conference by five points. They will have the opportunity to expand that to seven points tonight against the Habs.
New York's magic number to clinch first is now 5. If the Rangers finish 2-3-0 on the season, the Pens would have to go 5-0-0 and win out.

It will be a big time homecoming for the New York Rangers when they take on the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center tonight. For forward Marian Gaborik, he spent the first eight years of his NHL career playing in Minnesota. And for sophomores Ryan McDonagh and Derek Stepan, Minnesota was their actual "home" where their dreams of becoming hockey players first developed.
All three talk about the emotional return to Minny in the videos below:
