Vote for Avery Campaign

First of all, thanks to all who participated in our contest earlier today by voting for Ranger players in the All-Star ballot. Now, many of the well known Blueshirt Blogs out there are supporting a "Vote for Sean Avery - All Star Game 2011" campaign, in which us fans will try our best to send the league's most infamous pest to Raleigh, North Carolina this January. I decided to jump on the bandwagon as well, so The Rangers Tribune is officially a supporter of the Avery campaign.

Avery is not listed on the ballot so he would have to be a write-in candidate. Obviously you should also vote for other Ranger players, but we want to push hard as a fan base to get Avery in the All-Star Game. Seventy-five percent of the league hates the guy, so it would be beautiful to see him running around in an event that fans of all teams tune in to watch. Plus, it would most certainly irritate commissioner Gary Bettman.
