Rangers About to Sign Alexander Frolov

Laurie Carr of Beyond the Blueshirts reports via Twitter that the New York Rangers are about to sign Russian winger Alexander Frolov to a one-year deal. This is according to Frolov's agent, who told Russian reporters that Frolov has elected to go with the Rangers since he was aggravated with the Los Angeles Kings, his former club, for delaying talks with him until the Ilya Kovalchuk frenzy came to a close.

There has yet to be any "official" confirmation on this, but I would assume that will come shortly. I will update this post once that information becomes available.
