Player of the Month (OCT-09): Marian Gaborik

With the Rangers having the next two days off, I though I would get this up sooner than later. As you know, over the past week and a half the readers (you), have voted for who you thought was the best player in a Ranger uniform in the month of October. Taking 66 percent of the poll's votes, I am happy to announce that Marian Gaborik was elected as the first ever Rangers Tribune P.O.T.M., and it is well deserved.

Gaborik recorded ten goals and eight assists for 18 points in twelve games played in October, superior statistics to any player on the Ranger roster. Coming in second in the polling was Michael Del Zotto with 25 percent of the votes.

There is now a new poll up asking your opinion on the most surprising player thus far, so hit the sidebar to your right and submit your vote. Also, thank you for participating in last month's player of the month poll, it is appreciated, and congratulations to Marian Gaborik.
