A Congratulations

We here at the Rangers Tribune, despite our hatred, must congratulate New Jersey Devil's goaltender Martin Brodeur for tying Terry Sawchuk's all-time shutout record at 103. Marty now holds pretty much every record at the goaltending position there possibly is. This all occurred last night at HSBC Arena, when the Devils defeated the Sabres by the score of 3-0.

On a more important note, the Rangers will return to practicing this morning after having the day off on Monday . We should be receiving updates on the status of injured defenseman Wade Redden (shoulder) as well as Brandon Dubinsky (broken hand). Both players have been skating on their own the past couple of days, but neither has been cleared to play, or even practice with the team for that matter. The Blueshirts will then fly out to Chicago where they are scheduled to go head to head with the young and skilled Blackhawks tomorrow night at 8:30 pm.

I will have all of this and more on the site later today, as well as frequent practice updates on twitter as usual. That reminds me, you can now follow all of my tweets right on the sidebar of the blog under the title "Follow me on Twitter". It is a neat little application that was installed last night and works very well. Back Later.....
