At the conclusion of the National Hockey League's regular season, this tournament becomes a big deal to player's in which their respective teams did not make the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Messier's goal here is to basically recruit the best available Canadian players around the league and add them to the team Canada roster. This will actually benefit the Rangers, being that "The Captain" is currently the special assistant to General Manager Glen Sather, and will most likely take over the job at some point in the future. Messier will now have this event on his front office resume and will surely gain experience as a GM.
Messier stated that he was "excited" to receive the job. The full story can be found at http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=301560.

Hey, I normally don't do this, but you have a small mistake in the blog. You should have said "players respective teams", not respected. I read the article about you being a young blogger, so I figured you'd want to learn from that.
Anyway, great website. I check it everyday for my Rangers updates. You are above blue notes and blueshirt banter in my opinion (although I still have to give #1 to the Mouth over at Rangers Crisis). Keep it up man.
I thank you for the correction. I should have picked up on it in my editing but I did not, so I thank you for doing so. The compliments are appreciated.
Hi, I think your website is interesting very colorful. Good job! I feel helping job seekers finding their Dream home jobs are a fulfilling quest. Good luck in your quest too.
